To keep the typeface consistent with the blocks of the layout, I chose the clean cut and straight edged Helvetica typeface. This helped balance the rule-breaking paragraphs of my paragraphs that cross over the edges of the black and white boxes.
I experimented with the foreground and background of some lines by adding contrasting layers that give a shadow effect.
To me, I find unpredictable spacing between colors, words, lines, and letters to be intriguing, so I made sure to incorporate that throughout my poster.
